CFAO South Africa is proud to announce the appointment of Kevin Pillay as Managing Director of CFAO Mobility South Africa. This leadership appointment reinforces our strategic commitment to strengthening our integrated mobility platform and delivering sustained value to customers across South Africa.
CFAO Mobility South Africa, the automotive retail and vehicle rental pillar of CFAO South Africa, forms a core component of the integrated mobility ecosystem value offering. Operating one of the largest vehicle dealer networks in the country, it represents a portfolio of global brands across passenger, commercial, and specialist vehicle segments. Its integrated business model enables end-to-end customer engagement across the vehicle lifecycle from acquisition and servicing to warranty support, trade-in cycles, and vehicle rentals.
“Kevin embodies the values that drive our organisation: collaboration, diversity, resilience, with an unwavering commitment to service excellence. His leadership will support the continued expansion of CFAO Mobility South Africa as a critical engine in our integrated mobility ecosystem, serving customers across the automotive value chain. CFAO Mobility SA is not simply a dealership and vehicle rental network. It reflects our long-term, structured, and reputation-driven approach to mobility leadership,” says Andrew Velleman, Group CEO of CFAO South Africa.
Kevin Pillay, former Divisional Executive for Volkswagen and Audi within CFAO Mobility South Africa, brings deep automotive leadership expertise spanning operations, commercial strategy, customer excellence, and people development. Since joining CFAO South Africa in 2021, he has consistently demonstrated a collaborative, results-driven leadership style aligned with our growth ambitions. “As we look ahead, we are confident that under Kevin’s leadership, CFAO Mobility South Africa will continue to innovate, expand, and strengthen its position as a trusted mobility partner across the country,” adds Velleman.
CFAO South Africa also extends sincere appreciation to outgoing Managing Director Carel Volschenk, who is embarking on early retirement. His dedication and leadership have played a significant role in shaping and strengthening CFAO Mobility South Africa.
