Empowering Young Leaders. CFAO South Africa is proud to partner with TotalEnergies and the Global Road Safety Partnership on the VIA – Safe Mobility for All Young People programme. VIA (Vouloir – Innover – Agir) empowers learners to observe, innovate, and act for safer school routes, grounded in the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.

Empowering young leaders, since June 2025, eight schools across Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and KwaZulu-Natal have participated in the safety walks, regional competitions, and the National Finals at the University of Pretoria (31 October 2025 – 2 November 2025).

We were honoured to serve on the adjudication panel for projects from:
Fynnland Primary (Durban)
Meyerspark Primary (Pretoria)
Leratadima Primary (Ekurhuleni)
AA Khumalo Primary (Nelspruit) – who represented SA at the International Finals!

Our colleagues played a vital role- joining safety walks, engaging with learners, and supporting awareness initiatives.

Why VIA matters: As a mobility leader, promoting safe, responsible movement is central to our CSR strategy. Together, we’re building safer communities and empowering the next generation of road safety leaders.
