
Guillaume Thaumiaux was appointed Chief Financial Officer of CFAO South Africa in October 2025.
He brings more than two decades of financial leadership experience across diverse sectors and geographies, with a strong track record in both Francophone and Anglophone Africa.
He began his career in 2001 at Ernst & Young as an auditor, then joined CFAO in 2004 as an Internal Auditor. His deep knowledge of the Group’s operations led to several senior finance roles across the continent. He served as CFO of CFAO Motors Ghana (2005), CFAO Motors Morocco (2009), and CFAO FMCG Industries and Distribution (2014). In 2017, he was appointed CFO of CFAO Automotive West and Central Africa.
In 2018, Guillaume broadened his international experience as CFO of Tressol-Chabrier, a major multi-brand automotive distributor in France. He returned to Africa in 2020 as CFO of Brassivoire, the joint venture between Heineken and CFAO in Côte d’Ivoire, before taking up the role of CFO at CFAO Mobility Africa – LOXEA.
Guillaume holds a Master’s Degree in Finance and is known for his strategic vision, operational insight, and deep commitment to sustainable financial growth across complex markets.
